Golf booking app

I redesigned a golf app from scratch for a client based on an existing product. The new product is up and running and the value proposition is to be able to find last-minute golf times for low prices.

Account creation

The onboarding flow guides users through creating an account.

Finding a golf time is easy

After login, users are met by a map that shows the cheapest price of a golf course. They can choose to filter on different things, such as date, time and number of players. They can also search for locations, golf courses as well as view their results in a list.

Making checkout quick

The checkout flow is designed to be as short as possible. If users are happy with their time selections, they can (optionally) choose to add friends to play their rounds with or proceed straight to checkout. The client wanted to begin with Klarna as a checkout method, but I made sure to make space for other methods as well for future iterations.

The client also wanted me to emphasize the rebate, which is the entire value proposition of the app, so that's a recurring theme throughout. The product was originally using a subscription based model before allowing users to book anything. Even though it was 19 SEK/month, it acted as a paywall. I suggested to replace the subscription with a booking fee, which in turn reduced churn substantially.
