This concept was created to bring businesses online by showcasing their products and services in a high quality curated directory. Video conferencing options for each business allow customers to browse and buy in an immersive way even if they can't make it to the shop. This project was carried out as part of the Hack for Sweden during the pandemic 2020 and was based on user research with store owners. The project was a top 5 contester in the Hackathon.
The landing page is designed to quickly lead the user into exploring local stores in their neighborhood.
When searching for stores the user will first see trending stores and a map showing the results of their search. If the location is left out during the search as in this case, the user can click to explore neighborhoods.
When the user scrolls down further or moves the map, different businesses that match their search criteria (in this case three categories) are displayed. The user can click on each business card to access a business page or proceed straight to live video shopping if clicking the live shopping button.
